Extruded rubber square flat profiles made from EPDM
Our extruded flat rubber profiles made from high-quality EPDM are the ideal choice when durable, weather-resistant and versatile sealing and construction profiles are required. The profiles are produced using an extrusion process, in which a specially formulated rubber compound is processed in an extruder and then pressed through a shaping die to produce the desired cross-section. The profile that emerges continuously is initially still in a plastic state and only acquires its final rubber-elastic properties through subsequent vulcanisation. This process ensures high dimensional stability, elasticity and resilience, even under extreme temperature fluctuations and mechanical stress.

Our extruded flat rubber profiles made from high-quality EPDM are the ideal choice when durable, weather-resistant and versatile sealing and construction profiles are required. The profiles are produced using an extrusion process, in which a specially formulated rubber compound is processed in an extruder and then pressed through a shaping die to achieve the desired cross-section. The continuously extruded profile is initially still in a plastic state and only acquires its final rubber-elastic properties through subsequent vulcanisation. This process ensures high dimensional stability, elasticity and resilience, even under significant temperature fluctuations and mechanical stress.
EPDM is known for its excellent resistance to weathering, ozone and ageing, and is therefore particularly suitable for outdoor applications, in vehicle and plant engineering, in the construction industry, and in machinery and housing construction. Rubber square and flat profiles are used there, amongst other things, as seals, spacers, bumpers, shims or edge supports, helping to protect components, dampen vibrations and prevent the ingress of moisture or dirt.
Depending on the design, the rubber flat profiles can be ordered in lengths of approx. 25 to 50 metres and are therefore particularly suitable for series production or projects with higher material requirements. Numerous standard dimensions are available directly from stock in our online shop.
