The NORFLEX® SIL 448 is a high-quality, fabric-reinforced silicone industrial hose developed for demanding applications in mechanical engineering, plant construction and vehicle manufacturing. Thanks to its special material combination, it offers exceptionally high flexibility, remains supple even at low temperatures and is at the same time resistant to foot traffic and can be driven over without losing its dimensional stability. This robust construction ensures that the hose functions reliably over the long term – even in harsh industrial environments.
The SIL 448 is designed for temperatures up to +180 °C and is therefore ideal for the transport of compressed air, hot media or gases that require increased heat resistance. The integrated fabric reinforcement gives the hose high pressure stability and makes it particularly resistant to mechanical stress, kinking or abrasion.
Typical areas of application include industrial automation, production and manufacturing facilities, vehicle construction, laboratory environments, or applications where flexible yet stable connecting hoses are required. Furthermore, the NORFLEX® SIL 448 offers excellent resistance to ageing and weathering, making it a reliable choice in the long term.
