Vulkocell® Cellular Vulkollan | Vulkocell? moulded parts

Thanks to its mixed-cell structure, Vulkocell® is the powerful counterpart to the compact Vulkollan®. Due to its excellent material properties, this elastomer is preferably used where a much higher deformation and a lower compression hardness must be achieved than with solid elastomers. Thanks to its microcellular structure, Vulkocell® is highly compressible by volume, while at the same time having very low transverse elongation. This advantageous combination, supplemented by relatively low damping and a high dynamic load capacity, offers a wide range of applications in general mechanical and plant engineering, as well as in vehicle construction. Compact designs, vibrations that stress man and machine - foamed polyurethane molded parts made of Vulkocell® such as auxiliary springs, shock absorbers, spherical bearing seals and many other applications today provide safety and suspension comfort.
