Costs for the production of foam mould inserts

1

What costs can be expected for drone foam packaging?

The price depends on the size and density of the insert. For customised drone foam L:400 mm x W:300 mm x H:400 mm, a price including construction costs of CHF 250 must be expected. A 2-colour welded PE foam can also be ordered for a surcharge of CHF 25. The drone foam inserts are machined using special milling tools. If several identical inserts are required, the unit price is already reduced by 50% compared to the single unit price for a purchase quantity of approx. 2 pieces. The design and production time for a single insert is normally 10 working days.

2

What information do we need for production?

The more information we have, the easier it is to prepare the data. Drawings in pdf format, dxf, step files or shadow-free photos of the objects to be inserted with at least one reference dimension. (We can provide grid light tables for photos).

If none of the above can be provided, there is the possibility that the moulds will be sent to us for measurement. If the tools are taken on site at the customer's premises, we would have to charge for the additional work involved.

3

Are repeat orders possible?

Once produced, inserts can also be reordered years later. All documents and programmes are stored and can be called up at any time.

4

What are the delivery times?

The delivery times depend on the design effort, measurement of the tools and the creation of the drawings. As a rule, a delivery time of 5 working days can be expected.
