Sound insulation for pipelines
The combination sound insulation mats made of Silphon and Teroform provide effective insulation against flow and impact noise in pipes and ducts, ideal for ventilation, extraction and waste water systems.

Material description
The combination sound insulation mat (spring/mass system) consists of a flame-retardant anthracite PUR absorption foam Silphon Yellowfoam (BKZ 5.2), which is laminated on one side with a flexible, flame-retardant plastic heavy layer Teroform 6010 (BKZ 5.3).

Self-adhesive version
The Silphon combi sound insulation mat can be ordered self-adhesive on the foam side, whereby the adhesive layer is covered with a removable PE film.

Assembly instructions
It is glued to the entire surface of the metal or plastic ducts, cables or pipes to be insulated on the foam side. In the case of pipe sheathing, the resulting longitudinal joints must be overlapped or covered with a heavy foil tape, such as Plastostrip.

Areas of application
The main area of application is to reduce the emission of disruptive flow and impact noise in pipes and ducts caused by the flow of contaminated air, liquids or bulk material. Examples include ventilation and extraction ducts, supply lines for wood pellet or wood chip heating systems, plastic waste water pipes and the like.

Die Kombi-Lärmschutzmatten können schaumseitig mit oder ohne Selbstklebung im Standardplattenformat oder nach Ihren Wünschen zugeschnitten bestellt werden.
