Vibra® place foam inserts for 5S organization
Tidiness and cleanliness are the basic prerequisites for improving work processes. The Vibra® place foam inserts serve as a tool to make workplaces and work processes safer, cleaner, clearer and therefore more productive. Tools and aids all have their prescribed place so that work can be carried out without disruption and without searching. A clean and tidy working environment is also the basis for quality work.
2
Vibra® anti-slip mats for a secure grip
The Vibra® anti-slip mat is a high-quality, anti-slip soft foam material that adheres to any smooth surface without a mounting system or adhesive. The flexible and double-sided adhesive material is extremely tear-resistant and extremely hard-wearing.
3
Rubber mats to protect work surfaces
The wide groove and fine groove rubber mats can be used wherever a soft, wear-resistant and non-slip surface is required. The range of applications is universal, e.g. on workbenches, in shelves, drawer cabinets or tool trolleys.
The 5S method
The 5S method is an important part of lean management and aims to make the workplace efficient and productive.
1
Seiri - Sort
The first step is to clear the workplace of all unnecessary items. All materials, tools and equipment are recorded Superfluous or duplicate items are sorted out Only the essentials remain in the workplace. This creates a better overview and more space.
2
Seiton - Set in Order
The remaining work equipment is sensibly arranged here: Frequently used items are easily accessible and each item has a fixed place. The arrangement follows the principle “Everything has a place - everything is in its place”. This reduces search times and increases efficiency.
3
Seiso - Shine
The workplace is thoroughly cleaned and kept in a clean condition: Regular cleaning is scheduled and soiling is removed directly. A clean workplace increases quality and safety.
4
Seiketsu - Standardize
The improvements developed are defined as standards: Processes and arrangements are documented. Visualizations such as photos or drawings support the standardization process. Uniform standards facilitate work and control.
5
Shitsuke - Sustain
The final step ensures that the standards are maintained and improved in the long term: regular reviews are carried out, employees are involved and provide feedback. The aim is continuous improvement. The consistent application of the 5S method leads to improved workplace organization, greater efficiency, better quality and more safety. It forms an important basis for further lean activities in the company.
