The exhaust hose is a flexible hose that is used to guide exhaust gases from vehicle engines and other equipment away from the operator. It is mainly used on vehicle exhaust systems, above and below floor extraction systems and engine test benches in industry and workshops.
To guarantee smooth and error-free use, the hoses must have certain properties. For example, hot gases up to several hundred °Celsius must be able to be transported without damaging the material. A flexible hose shape is advantageous in order to withstand vibrations as well as impact and balancing effects from outside.
