Our rubber sheets made of FKM (also known as Viton®) with a hardness of 75 ± 5 Shore A are among the most high-performance elastomers available. They have been specially developed for applications where extreme conditions prevail and other rubbers such as NBR, EPDM or CR quickly reach their limits. With their exceptional chemical resistance, high temperature stability and outstanding ageing resistance, these sheets offer the highest level of reliability and safety.

A key advantage lies in their resistance to aggressive media. FKM withstands mineral oils, fuels, greases, many solvents, numerous industrial chemicals and a range of acids. This makes the sheets ideal for use in the chemical and process industries, in refineries, in the energy sector, in mechanical and plant engineering, and in automotive and aerospace engineering.

Its thermal stability is particularly impressive: the material remains reliably elastic and functional even at continuous temperatures of up to +250 °C, and short-term exposure to temperatures of up to +275 °C is possible. At the same time, it retains sufficient flexibility even at lower temperatures. This property makes the sheets ideal for applications involving significant temperature fluctuations.

The mechanical performance is also impressive. The sheets possess high tear and tensile strength as well as low compression set, enabling them to maintain their sealing effectiveness over the long term even under pressure loads. Added to this is excellent weather and ozone resistance: UV radiation, ozone or extreme environmental influences have little effect on the properties of FKM, meaning the sheets remain reliable even after many years.

The range of applications is correspondingly wide. FKM sheets are frequently used as seals, flange gaskets or linings in chemical plants and piping systems. They are used in pumps, valves and engine components, as well as high-temperature-resistant insulation elements or protective coatings in industrial processes. Wherever aggressive media, high temperatures and continuous stress come together, FKM demonstrates its outstanding resistance.

Processing is also straightforward. The sheets can be cut to size, punched or further processed, making them suitable for both large-scale applications and precision-manufactured specialist solutions.

Delivery form

Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.

In addition to simple strips or cut-to-length sections, we also manufacture precision injection-moulded parts, CNC-cut profiles and complex rubber-metal components that are precisely tailored to your application.
