Our NR/SBR rubber sheets are made from a high-quality blend of natural rubber (NR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). This blend combines the natural elasticity and tear resistance of natural rubber with the excellent abrasion and ageing resistance of SBR. The result is a robust and versatile material suitable for a wide range of industrial and technical applications.

The sheets are available in Shore hardnesses of 50 and 70 A, allowing the right solution to be selected for different requirements. While the 50 Shore A variant is slightly softer, more elastic and particularly well suited to applications requiring damping and shock-absorbing properties, the 70 Shore A variant offers greater strength and dimensional stability—ideal for heavily loaded surfaces or components requiring a harder surface.

With a density of approx. 1.5 g/cm³ and a tensile strength of around 3 MPa, the NR/SBR rubber sheets are characterised by their high load-bearing capacity. Elongation at break of approximately 250% ensures the material stays elastic even under heavy stress without tearing or suffering permanent deformation. Additionally, the low compression set makes the sheets ideal for use as seals or shims.

The rubber sheets also meet all standard requirements in terms of temperature resistance: they can be used continuously within a temperature range of approx. –30 °C to +70 °C, and even up to +90 °C for short periods. This makes them suitable for use in cold environments as well as for applications where higher temperatures may occur temporarily.

The NR/SBR sheets are easy to work with. They can be easily cut to size, die-cut, glued or machined, allowing custom shapes, sizes and cut-to-size pieces to be produced without difficulty. Available in a wide range of thicknesses, the sheets offer maximum flexibility for a wide variety of projects.

Delivery form

Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.

In addition to simple strips or cut-to-length sections, we also manufacture precision injection-moulded parts, CNC-cut profiles and complex rubber-metal components that are precisely tailored to your application.
