Vibraflex® Standard/ECO Insulation Sleeves

Vibraflex® Standard/ECO TAPs insulation sleeves are a practical addition to the field of thermal and refrigeration insulation. They are made of high-quality, closed-cell elastomer foam and are specially designed to securely and sustainably insulate pipes, fittings and smaller surfaces. Thanks to its fine-cell structure, the material acts as an integrated vapour barrier, meaning that neither additional coatings nor separate seals are required. In this way, the wraps reliably prevent condensation, reduce the risk of corrosion and contribute to a longer service life for the systems.

The wraps impress with their low thermal conductivity of approx. 0.032–0.038 W/mK, which ensures excellent insulation performance. This means that energy losses are significantly reduced in both heating and hot water systems as well as in refrigeration and air conditioning applications, and the efficiency of the entire system is noticeably increased. Particularly in areas where pipework is exposed to significant temperature fluctuations, Vibraflex® Standard/ECO TAPs make a significant contribution to energy savings and operational safety.

A key feature of this product range is the ECO variant. It is halogen-free and has been developed to meet the growing demands for environmental friendliness, sustainability and health safety. In the event of a fire, this means no corrosive or toxic fumes are produced – a decisive advantage for safety-critical applications in buildings, public facilities or the transport sector.

In practice, too, the insulation bands score highly thanks to their ease of use. They can be cut to size flexibly, applied cleanly and wrapped tightly around pipes or components. Particularly in cases of complex geometries, confined installation spaces or difficult connection points, the wraps offer a quick, straightforward solution.
