The Vibra® flat-stud mat (Stud) is a robust rubber mat with a distinctive round, flat-stud profile, designed for use as a floor covering and protective mat. The raised studs provide slip resistance, ensure a secure footing and give the mat a clean, uniform appearance. Liquids can drain away between the studs, and the flat stud surfaces are easy to clean. Typical applications include flooring and walkways in industrial and commercial settings, workstation and machine underlays, vehicle and trailer floors, as well as general protective and anti-slip applications.

The mat is available in several versions, which differ in stud size, hardness and strength: the standard version with 70 ± 5 Shore A and large studs (Ø 25 mm), and in two higher-grade, sturdier versions with 80 ± 5 Shore A – available either with fine studs (Ø 12 mm, also available in black/grey) or with large studs (Ø 28 mm). This allows you to select the appropriate appearance and load-bearing capacity for the specific application.

All versions are made from a tried-and-tested NR/SBR industrial-grade rubber with good mechanical properties as well as good abrasion and impact resistance. Depending on the version, the mats offer a tensile strength of 3 to 7.5 MPa, an elongation at break of 200 to 250 % and a hardness of 70 to 80 Shore A. The operating temperature range varies depending on the grade, from –20 °C to +70/+90 °C.

When using the mats, please note that this is a standard grade designed for mechanical applications: it offers moderate resistance to alkalis and ageing, but is not intended for prolonged contact with oils, fuels or acids. However, it is ideally suited for use as an anti-slip floor covering and protective mat in dry environments.

With a density of 1.5 g/cm³, the Vibra® flat-stud mat is robust, durable and easy to cut to size – available in rolls and sheets as well as made to measure.
