Our NR/SBR rubber sheets in 40–45 Shore A in grey are made from a proven blend of natural rubber (NR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). This blend combines the natural benefits of NR—high elasticity, good resilience and pleasant softness—with the robust properties of SBR, which is characterized by improved resistance to ageing and abrasion. The result is a rubber material that is both flexible and durable, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.

With a hardness of approx. 40–45 Shore A, these rubber sheets are among the softer grades in the range. This means they are particularly elastic, adapt easily to uneven surfaces and offer excellent damping and shock-absorbing properties. At the same time, they remain sufficiently stable to withstand continuous pressure, impacts or movements without failure. The high tensile strength and elongation of up to several hundred per cent ensure that the material retains its shape reliably even under repeated stress.

Another advantage is their good abrasion resistance. Even under constant mechanical stress – for example, as a protective covering, support surface or impact protection – the sheets retain their functionality and wear down significantly more slowly than soft foams or pure NR grades. Added to this is a consistent temperature tolerance of –30 °C to +70 °C, which allows for use in both cold and warm environments. Temperatures of up to +90 °C are even possible for short periods.

The grey colour scheme is not only visually appealing but also practical: it provides a neutral, clean surface that blends in discreetly in modern environments and is suitable, for example, for visible covers or technical components in interior applications.
NR/SBR sheets are extremely versatile in processing. They can be easily cut to size, die-cut, glued or machined, and can be shaped into almost any desired form. This makes them ideal for customised solutions such as seals, moulded parts or cut-to-size pieces.

Delivery form

Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.

In addition to simple strips or cut-to-length sections, we also manufacture precision injection-moulded parts, CNC-cut profiles and complex rubber-metal components that are precisely tailored to your application.
