EPDM rubber sheet – fabric insert
Rubber sheets made from NBR/SBR with two fabric reinforcements for increased tear resistance
The EPDM rubber sheets with a Shore A hardness of 60° ± 10° and two textile reinforcements represent a robust and versatile elastomer solution when requirements for tear resistance, weather resistance and ageing resistance are paramount. Manufactured from ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM) with two integrated fabric inserts, these sheets offer significantly increased mechanical stability compared to conventional solid rubber sheets without inserts. Thanks to the reinforcements, tensile and tear forces are distributed more effectively, which is particularly advantageous for large-scale applications, cushioning, and workshop or mechanical engineering environments.

Thanks to the reinforcements, tensile and tear forces are better distributed, which is particularly advantageous for large-area applications, cushioning, and workshop or mechanical engineering environments.
In terms of material properties, the product quality impresses with outstanding durability: EPDM is known for its excellent resistance to ozone, UV and weathering, as well as its pronounced resistance to ageing and suitability for hot water and steam. In this version with two reinforcements, the sheet is therefore suitable for use in demanding environments – particularly where, in addition to mechanical stress, service life also plays a key role. However, it is not resistant to mineral oils and fossil fuels, which must be taken into account during planning.
The range of applications is diverse: these rubber sheets are ideal as floor or machine underlays in industrial halls, as insulation or support sheets beneath machinery, as vibration or structure-borne sound insulation in conjunction with metal structures, and in areas around hot water or steam pipes. The fabric reinforcements increase tear resistance and reduce the risk of cuts or cracks during cutting, drilling or under high localised loads – a non-negotiable advantage for planning or industrial applications.
Installation and processing are efficient: the panels can be easily cut to size using cutting machines or waterjet cutting systems, drilled or prepared for punching. Thanks to the embedded fabric, edges are less likely to fray and dimensional stability is better maintained throughout the product’s service life.
Delivery form
Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.
In addition to simple strips or cut-to-length sections, we also manufacture precision injection-moulded parts, CNC-cut profiles and complex rubber-metal components that are precisely tailored to your application.
