Vibra®fiber - polyester fibre

Our Fibersonic element offers a sophisticated combination of materials comprising a flexible heavy-duty plastic film and a high-performance polyester fibre core, specifically developed for efficient airborne sound insulation in interior fit-outs. The structural combination of both components—the heavy foil as a mass-dominant barrier and the polyester fibre core as an internal damping unit—produces an acoustically optimal effect: the incident sound waves are first reflected and absorbed by the heavy foil before penetrating the fibre composite, where they are further dampened and subsequently transmitted only minimally into the structure behind. This makes this sandwich element particularly suitable for partition walls, enclosures for service ducts, machine rooms, air ducts or other interior installations where both acoustic comfort and optimisation of installation space are required.

Thanks to standardised panel formats or custom-cut sections, the system can be easily integrated into new builds as well as renovation or retrofit projects. The low installation effort and flexible adaptation to existing conditions increase planning reliability and reduce on-site installation time and logistical complexity. At the same time, the use of high-quality materials ensures long-term resistance to ageing as well as low-emission and odour-neutral properties – an important criterion, particularly in sensitive environments such as studios, technical rooms or hotel areas.

It combines technical performance with economic efficiency and provides planning reliability for demanding acoustic and indoor comfort requirements. At a time when demands for quiet spaces, sound insulation and operational safety are rising, this system offers a modern and effective solution to the challenge of airborne sound transmission in buildings and facilities.
