The viscoelastic PUR foam, often referred to as memory foam, has a density of 52 kg/m³ and is a beige, open-cell and particularly flexible polyurethane foam. Its unique property is that it adapts precisely to the contours of the body under the influence of body heat and weight. The foam responds to pressure with a delay, meaning it does not immediately return to its original position but slowly and evenly recoils as soon as the pressure is released. This visco- and thermoelastic material structure ensures that pressure peaks are significantly reduced and the body can be supported in a virtually pressure-free, ergonomically correct and comfortable position.
