Vibra® rubber decking pad

Vibra® rubber decking pads are an innovative solution for permanently stabilising decking surfaces, protecting them from damage and, at the same time, significantly reducing noise when walked on. Made from high-quality recycled rubber granules, they combine sustainability, durability and technical performance in a single product. The pads are installed between the substructure and the decking – whether it be timber, WPC, concrete or ceramic tiles – and perform several crucial functions there.

A key advantage is the significant reduction in structure-borne and impact noise. The elastic rubber structure acts as a buffer, distributing the load evenly and reliably preventing annoying creaking or clattering noises. This not only creates a pleasantly quiet terrace atmosphere but also noticeably enhances living comfort. This effect is particularly beneficial in densely built-up residential areas or for terraces above living spaces.

Furthermore, the pads serve as protection against moisture and mechanical stress. The spacer effect ensures the substructure is optimally ventilated, thereby preventing waterlogging and significantly reducing the formation of mould or rot. At the same time, the pads prevent localised pressure points and guard against material damage to beams, floorboards or slabs. In this way, they considerably extend the service life of the entire terrace structure.

Installation is also simple and flexible. The pads are available in various thicknesses and dimensions and can be easily cut to size. This allows them to be individually adapted to the respective substructure – whether used selectively as spacers or across a surface for load distribution. Their weather-resistant and rot-proof structure ensures that they retain their properties even after many years of outdoor use.

However, the applications for Vibra® decking pads extend beyond traditional decking construction. They are equally suitable as decking supports indoors, as tile supports on balconies or roof terraces, or as vibration-damping underlays in other structural applications.
