novapress® 850 combines the advantages of fibre-reinforced and elastomer seals in a single, innovative material. It combines the excellent adaptability and elasticity of a rubber seal with the high mechanical stability and dimensional stability of traditional fibre-reinforced seals. This makes novapress® 850 ideal for applications where conventional sealing materials reach their limits.
The material adapts perfectly to uneven or sensitive sealing surfaces even under low contact pressure, ensuring a permanently secure seal. At the same time, the stable fibre structure ensures even pressure distribution and high stability, even with large bolt spacings or uneven loads. novapress® 850 thus offers a reliable solution for a wide range of applications, such as cover and housing seals in pumps, gearboxes or compressors, as well as for easily deformable or non-rigid components.
Thanks to its tested quality and numerous approvals—including for gas supply (DVGW, VP 401), water supply (drinking water approval in accordance with the Elastomer Guideline, W 270) and the food sector (FDA, EC 1935/2004)—novapress® 850 meets the highest safety and hygiene standards. This makes it the ideal choice for industrial, technical and hygiene-sensitive applications that require a durable, flexible and reliable seal.
