novatec® SPECIAL has been specially developed for applications where a high degree of adaptability to irregular or slightly damaged flange surfaces is required. The material combines the proven properties of the novatec® product range—such as high compressive strength, good media resistance and thermal stability—with a particularly elastic structure that ensures a secure seal even under uneven contact pressure.
Thanks to this flexibility, novatec® SPECIAL is ideal for repair applications, older systems, flange connections with surface irregularities or components with large bolt spacing. The gaskets are available in thicknesses from 1.0 to 3.0 mm and are supplied as standard with a non-stick coating, which facilitates easy removal and protects the sealing surfaces.
The standard colour is golden yellow, which facilitates clear differentiation and identification during use. novatec® SPECIAL thus combines excellent adaptability with reliable sealing performance and ease of handling – ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.
