Sylomer® sheets are high-performance polyurethane-based vibration isolation solutions, specifically developed to sustainably reduce shocks, vibrations and structure-borne noise in technical systems and structures. Thanks to their unique material structure, Sylomer® sheets combine high elasticity with pronounced pressure absorption and excellent resilience, enabling them to effectively dampen vibration energy and reduce it to a minimum. These properties make them an ideal material for protecting machinery, units, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, installation surfaces or structures from harmful vibration effects.

Sylomer® sheets exhibit a constant dynamic spring characteristic curve, which enables loads to be supported in a controlled and reliable manner over a wide range whilst simultaneously isolating vibrations. This not only leads to a noticeable reduction in structure-borne noise transmission within the building, but also extends the service life of machinery and building components by minimising mechanical fatigue and material stress caused by resonance. Applications can be found across many industries – from mechanical and plant engineering through to building services and medical technology, where precise vibration control is required.

Thanks to their excellent workability, Sylomer® sheets can be easily cut to size to ensure they fit perfectly into the respective installation scenarios. Whether as a bespoke insulation surface beneath machine foundations, as a support surface for units, as an elastic underlay beneath ventilation systems, or for decoupling partition walls – the sheets can be flexibly integrated. Product properties such as high resistance to ageing and excellent durability against moisture, temperature fluctuations or industrial environmental conditions guarantee long-lasting performance even in demanding operating environments.
