Sylodamp® panels

Sylodamp® rolls and sheets are elastic vibration-damping materials that have been specially developed to sustainably reduce vibrations, impacts and structure-borne noise. The high-quality elastomer is characterised by particularly well-balanced damping characteristics, which achieve significant energy absorption even at low pressure, thereby efficiently converting vibration energy into heat. This makes Sylodamp® products ideal for use wherever mechanical vibrations need to be reduced, resonances minimised or noise transmission within machines, plant equipment or building structures significantly reduced.

Sylodamp® rolls and sheets combine high elasticity, good resilience and a stable material structure, which maintains consistent damping performance across a wide load range. This results in effective long-term vibration isolation – whether under machine foundations, equipment installations, vibration-generating devices or other technical systems where comfort, operational safety and service life are paramount. The rolls are particularly suitable for applications requiring flexible wraps or damping strips of variable length, whilst the sheets are used as stable underlays or layers.

Thanks to their good workability, Sylodamp® rolls and sheets can be easily cut to size, shaped or integrated into multi-layer insulation systems. In both standard and customised solutions, the damping effect can be optimally adjusted through precise cutting or by combining different thicknesses and material hardnesses. Thanks to its robust material properties, Sylodamp® is resistant to moisture, temperature fluctuations and mechanical stress, making it suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor areas as well as industrial environments.
