Parabolic buffers are specially shaped elastomers that offer progressive damping characteristics and thus absorb shocks particularly effectively. Due to their parabolic geometry, the stiffness of the buffer increases with increasing deformation, thereby softly absorbing light impacts and controlled decelerating stronger loads. This behaviour makes parabolic buffers ideal for designs with defined stops, where components must be protected and movements reliably limited.

When paired with spring-mounted supports, they can effectively reduce vibration amplitudes by absorbing the end stop gently yet firmly. Furthermore, parabolic rubber buffers are ideal as equipment feet where progressive force absorption is required – for example, to decouple machines, equipment or components located near power units that generate both vibrations and impacts.

Whether for vibration control, as impact dampers or as vibration-optimised equipment feet: parabolic buffers offer a durable, robust and versatile solution for a wide range of applications.
