Vibra® screw insulation – Elastic fastening elements for effective vibration and structure-borne noise insulation
Vibra® screw insulation is one of the most efficient solutions when fixing points need to be reliably decoupled from oscillations, vibrations and structure-borne noise. These elements consist of cylindrical rubber buffers which – depending on the version – are combined with matching counter-buffers or rubber mats. This design creates an elastic, pre-stressed connection that significantly reduces mechanical vibrations whilst also acting as a pull-out protection.

Vibra® screw insulation is one of the most efficient solutions when fixing points need to be reliably decoupled from oscillations, vibrations and structure-borne noise. These elements consist of cylindrical rubber buffers which – depending on the design – are combined with matching counter-buffers or rubber mats. This design creates an elastic, pre-stressed connection that significantly reduces mechanical vibrations whilst also acting as an anti-pull-out device.
Screw isolators are typically used wherever fastening elements must not transmit vibrations undamped into the building structure. This includes, for example, cladding panels, light to medium-weight enclosures, fans, motors, air conditioning and ventilation units, pipework or air ducts. In all these applications, Vibra® screw insulation prevents disruptive noise, reduces structure-borne sound transmission and simultaneously protects the mounted components from material fatigue.
Another advantage is the ease of installation: the elements are fitted like standard screw connections, but offer significant acoustic decoupling thanks to the elastic rubber component. They also compensate for manufacturing tolerances, prevent metal-to-metal contact and thus ensure a permanently quiet and low-vibration fastening.
Available in various sizes, Shore hardnesses and designs, Vibra® screw isolators can be optimally adapted to the specific application. Whether for lightweight equipment or machine areas subject to heavier loads – the wide range of variants allows for a quick selection of the right product.
