Food-grade polyurethane hoses from the PUR Standard series are made from high-quality raw materials and are ideal for the food industry. They are suitable for abrasive powders, bulk materials, granulates and gases. In the food and pharmaceutical industries, they are used for the transport of rice, grain, sugar, coffee, as well as dry and frozen foods. Furthermore, the hoses are suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. In medical technology and the healthcare sector, they serve as cable protection, air and suction hoses. They are also used in municipal vehicles, such as in lawn and embankment mowers.
Non-antistatic hoses become electrically charged through friction when transporting raw materials or foodstuffs. In the case of flammable substances, this can cause sparks and explosions. Antistatic hoses reliably prevent this risk.
