The PROTAPE® TPE 325 is a particularly lightweight and highly flexible hose made of thermoplastic elastomer, which has been specially developed for the conveyance of warm and cold air. Thanks to its outstanding material properties, it is suitable for numerous applications in industry, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering and building services engineering.

An exhaust hose is a flexible hose used to divert exhaust gases from vehicle engines and other equipment away from the operator. It is primarily used in vehicle exhaust systems, overhead and underfloor extraction systems, and engine test benches in industry and workshops.
To ensure smooth and fault-free operation, the hoses must possess certain properties. For instance, they must be capable of conveying hot gases at temperatures of up to several hundred degrees Celsius without the material sustaining damage. A flexible hose design is advantageous for withstanding vibrations as well as external impacts and centrifugal forces.
