Vulcanised rubber-to-metal bushings are high-quality structural components used wherever oscillations, vibrations or minor movements need to be reliably damped or isolated. They consist of an inner and an outer precision sleeve, which are permanently bonded together by a firmly adhering vulcanised elastomer layer. This elastic intermediate layer forms the core of the bushing and enables precise, controlled movement absorption in multiple planes.

Vulcanised rubber-to-metal bushings are high-quality structural components used wherever oscillations, vibrations or minor movements need to be reliably damped or isolated. They consist of an inner and an outer precision sleeve, which are permanently bonded together by a firmly adhering vulcanised elastomer layer. This elastic intermediate layer forms the core of the bushing and enables precise, controlled movement absorption in multiple planes.
Thanks to their elastic structure, the bushings dampen both radial and axial vibrations and can also withstand torsional stress. Even gimbal-like deflections can be accommodated without difficulty, making them ideal bearing elements for moving structures. Their operating principle requires no lubricant, as there are no sliding metal-to-metal contacts – consequently, they operate maintenance-free over the long term and are resistant to water, dirt or other environmental influences.
Another advantage is the significant reduction of structure-borne noise transmission within a system. The elastomer layer acts as an acoustic barrier and contributes significantly to quiet, low-vibration machine operation. At the same time, it reliably compensates for manufacturing tolerances, thereby ensuring a durable, reliable connection.
