Bell-shaped elements are robust, tear-resistant rubber-metal elements that have been specially developed for the safe mounting of suspended components. They are made of high-quality NR natural rubber, which is characterised by excellent elasticity, high resilience and a long service life. These properties make bell-shaped elements ideal for applications where vibrations, shocks or unwanted structure-borne noise transmission must be reliably reduced.

Typically, bell-shaped elements are used as suspension elements for equipment, units, cables or lighter machine accessories that must not be rigidly fixed. Thanks to their characteristic design, they enable flexible yet secure mounting: the component is suspended elastically, thereby absorbing dynamic forces and effectively damping vibrations. Tear-off resistance plays a key role, particularly in suspended structures – bell-shaped elements are designed to hold securely even under impulsive loads or stronger movements.

Vibration isolation occurs in several directions simultaneously, as the rubber body absorbs movements both axially and radially whilst offering defined spring characteristics. This significantly reduces disruptive vibrations and minimises noise generation. This not only improves the operational reliability and service life of the mounted components, but also protects the surrounding structure from resonance and material fatigue.

Thanks to their simple installation, bell-shaped elements can be quickly integrated into existing systems or incorporated into the design of new installations. Their compact design allows for use even in confined installation spaces, whilst the metal components ensure a secure hold and controlled force transmission.
