Triple-fold air spring bellows – Type C
Maximum flexibility, long stroke lengths and efficient vibration isolation
The triple-fold air spring bellows of the C series are among the most powerful air spring systems and offer extreme stroke lengths and excellent damping characteristics whilst maintaining a compact design. The three folds enable a particularly large stroke, making these air springs ideal for demanding industrial applications where high mobility, reliable vibration isolation and variable spring characteristics are required.

The triple-fold air spring bellows of the Type C series are among the most powerful air spring systems, offering extreme stroke lengths and excellent damping properties whilst maintaining a compact design. The three folds enable a particularly large stroke, making these air springs ideal for demanding industrial applications where high mobility, reliable vibration isolation and variable spring characteristics are required.
Type C with flanged connection parts is designed for maximum robustness and durability. The fixed connection between the bellows and the connection part offers high reliability, even under intense loads or continuous operation. Type C is primarily used in stationary installations and heavy machinery where absolute stability and long-lasting performance are required.
Compared to conventional pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, triple-fold air spring bellows offer decisive advantages: they enable long stroke lengths, operate virtually friction-free, possess excellent damping properties, are completely maintenance-free and impress with a long service life combined with high cost-effectiveness. These characteristics make them indispensable in numerous industries – from mechanical engineering and conveyor technology to industrial test benches, vibration-isolated platforms and special designs.
