The AIRDUC® PE 362 EC is an electrically conductive polyethylene hose in a medium-duty design, specially developed for demanding applications where both high chemical resistance and electrostatic safety are required. Thanks to its robust AIRDUC® profiled wall, the hose offers an excellent combination of flexibility, mechanical strength and pressure stability.
Polyethylene is characterised by its excellent chemical resistance, which is why PE 362 EC is ideally suited for environments in which aggressive media are transported or extracted. The hose is equally resistant to alkalis and acids, making it a reliable solution for chemical production plants, process exhaust air, laboratory areas and industrial conveying systems.
The electrically conductive wall allows for the safe dissipation of electrostatic charges. This makes the hose suitable for applications involving the transport of fine dusts, dry powders or gaseous media, which could otherwise pose a fire hazard. The PE 362 EC thus supports safe operation in ATEX-relevant applications and wherever the generation of sparks must be avoided.
