The NORFLEX® SIL 408 is a high-quality, food-grade industrial hose made of silicone, which has been specially developed for hygienically demanding processes in the food and pharmaceutical industries. With an impressive temperature resistance of up to +180 °C, the hose is ideal for applications involving hot media, steam or temperature-critical processes. At the same time, it remains flexible and dimensionally stable, which also makes it suitable for use at fluctuating temperatures or in mobile systems.
The robust silicone wall makes the hose resistant to being stepped on and even capable of withstanding being driven over without losing its shape or functionality. This makes the NORFLEX® SIL 408 particularly suitable for working environments where hoses are frequently routed across floor surfaces or exposed to mechanical stresses.
Thanks to its odourless and tasteless material structure, the hose meets the highest hygiene requirements. It is ideal for conveying liquids, gases, viscous media and sensitive substances, such as those typically found in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
