The LASTO®ISOPIPE system is used where structure-borne sound bridges must be reliably prevented in the event of pipe penetrations. The pipe pads are particularly easy to install and prevent cement mortar from penetrating between the support and the pipe. The extra-long versions also effectively prevent structure-borne sound transmission along critical pipe sections, ensuring that acoustic separation remains reliably guaranteed even in areas subject to high structural stress.

The selected materials reflect the current state of the art and enhance installation safety on site. Installation takes place after the acoustic support has been laid, by simply slipping the pipe pad over the pipe. The large solid rubber base plate covers the opening of the pipe cut-out and is – if necessary – overlapped and sealed against the acoustic support using concrete tape. The pipe pad is secured to the pipe using the cable tie supplied.

LASTO®ISOPIPE pipe sleeves can be combined with all types of wall mounts – such as cork, solid rubber and rubber granulate mounts. When installed correctly, pipe sleeves largely prevent structure-borne sound bridges in the area of pipe penetrations and significantly improve sound insulation in the building. In cases with multiple pipes, the gap must be filled with mineral wool to reliably prevent mortar ingress.
