LASTO-STRIP NS linear bearings – deformation bearings with load centring
LASTO-STRIP NS linear bearings efficiently and sustainably prevent building damage such as cracking or spalling and contribute to the long-term durability of structural frameworks. The deformation bearings with load-centring effect feature a load-bearing core made of solid rubber (EPDM) that can elastically absorb horizontal movements. This ensures that stresses resulting from temperature changes, shrinkage, creep or settlement are distributed in a controlled manner – without rigid force transmission to adjacent structural elements.

LASTO-STRIP NS deformation bearings are available in various load ranges and are designed for a wide variety of load requirements in structural engineering. Depending on the design, they allow horizontal movements of ±2.5 mm at a bearing height of 5 mm or ±5.0 mm at a bearing height of 10 mm – throughout the entire service life of the structure. With their high resistance to ageing and weathering, they are a proven, long-lasting solution for both new builds and refurbishments, and are used in both building construction and civil engineering.
