VIBRAX®DAMP C – Deformation bearing for efficient structure-borne noise and vibration isolation
VIBRAX®DAMP C is an unreinforced deformation bearing for structure-borne noise and vibration isolation and is manufactured from high-quality, particularly soft elastomer compounds. The special design enables the controlled absorption of movements in both longitudinal and transverse directions, as well as the compensation of rotations between adjacent bearing surfaces. At the same time, only very low transverse tensile forces are generated at the contact surfaces, which keeps the movement absorption within the structural assembly stable and functionally reliable.

VIBRAX®DAMP C is an unreinforced deformation bearing for structure-borne noise and vibration isolation and is manufactured from high-quality, particularly soft elastomer compounds. The special design enables the controlled absorption of movements in both longitudinal and transverse directions, as well as the compensation of rotations between adjacent bearing surfaces. At the same time, only very low transverse tensile forces are generated at the contact surfaces, which keeps the movement absorption within the structural assembly stable and functionally reliable.
The bearing is particularly suitable for the elastic mounting of prefabricated elements such as staircases, landings and balcony slabs. Thanks to the material quality and optimised geometry, structure-borne noise insulation can be improved by up to 27 dB in the range of compressive stresses between 1 and 4 N/mm² – a significant acoustic advantage, particularly in applications with increased sound insulation requirements.
