The high-quality Silphon acoustic panels in walnut combine modern Scandinavian design with a noticeable improvement in room acoustics. The elegant MDF slats with a natural walnut veneer and the acoustically effective felt backing create a warm atmosphere whilst reducing reverberation and disruptive noise.
Thanks to the black acoustic felt made from recycled PET fibres, the panels selectively absorb sound in the 500–2000 Hz frequency range, thereby ensuring a pleasant indoor environment in both residential and commercial spaces. The panels are suitable for both wall and ceiling mounting and can be flexibly installed horizontally or vertically.
The panels weigh 8.5 kg/m² and consist of 9 mm-thick felt and 13 mm-thick slats. In terms of fire safety, they meet the requirements of ASTM E84 Class A. Thanks to their simple direct installation and the ability to cut them to size, they are ideal for creative design solutions in offices, hotels, studios or living areas; however, additional insulation can be integrated as an option to further improve the acoustics.
Maintenance is straightforward, as only dry cleaning is recommended; water or chemical cleaning agents should be avoided. The product is suitable for indoor use only, as it is neither moisture-resistant nor weather-resistant. High-quality materials, low-maintenance surfaces and effective sound absorption make Silphon acoustic panels a modern and functional design solution.
