The Silphon®acoustic PET-3D Hexagon design combines a striking hexagonal 3D structure with high-performance sound absorption. This modern acoustic panel improves room acoustics and opens up a wide range of possibilities for creative wall designs.
The acoustic panels in the Silphon®acoustic PET-3D range combine modern design with high-quality acoustic technology. Manufactured from highly compressed polyester fibre, they effectively absorb sound and reduce disruptive reflections and reverberation, particularly in the mid and high frequency ranges. Sound absorption performance can be further enhanced by incorporating an air gap behind the panel. With an NRC rating of 0.8 to 1.10, the panels deliver noticeably improved room acoustics and enhance speech intelligibility in offices, conference rooms, hotels, schools, public buildings and modern living spaces.
The material is characterised by its homogeneous structure, high elasticity and excellent resistance to impacts, scratches and tears. The panels are lightweight, dimensionally stable and durable, and are easy to install. They comply with Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, meet fire safety class B1 (flame-retardant) and formaldehyde emission class E0, making them a safe and sustainable solution for discerning interiors. The low-maintenance surface can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or brush; heavier soiling can be removed with a damp cloth and standard cleaning products.
The Hexagon Design model stands out thanks to its striking hexagonal shape, which allows for impressive wall designs both as individual panels and in large-scale arrangements. The geometric structure creates a modern, architectural look and combines decorative design with an effective improvement in room acoustics. The panel is available in light blue and dark blue and measures 390 × 450 × 50 mm. This makes it ideal for bespoke interior design concepts where design, functionality and acoustic comfort are equally important.
