The Premium EPDM rubber sheet with 65 Shore A is a high-quality EPDM product designed for demanding technical applications in outdoor and chemical environments. Its medium-hard consistency ensures high dimensional stability whilst maintaining good elasticity, making it a reliable choice for heavy-duty seals, pads and linings.

This sheet is characterised by its excellent resistance profile. As is typical of high-quality EPDM, it offers excellent resistance to weathering, ozone and UV radiation, and retains its properties even after years of outdoor exposure – a decisive advantage over many other elastomers, which become brittle under prolonged exposure to sunlight and ozone. Chemically, it exhibits excellent resistance to concentrated acids and alkalis, as well as good resistance to diluted acids and alkalis. However, EPDM is generally not suitable for contact with oils and solvents.

Mechanically, the sheet offers a minimum tensile strength of 80 kg/cm² (approximately 7.8 MPa) with an elongation at break of at least 350 % and a tear strength of 20 kg/cm. Following heat ageing at 70 °C, hardness, tensile strength and elongation at break remain stable within defined tolerances. With an operating temperature range of –30 °C to +130 °C, the sheet is suitable for both cold environments and applications involving high thermal loads – such as hot and steam applications, for which EPDM is particularly valued.

With a density of 1.25 g/cm³ and a black finish, the premium EPDM sheet can be cut to size, punched and processed into moulded seals, and is available by the metre or as a bespoke cut – the durable solution for sealing and support applications exposed to weathering and chemical influences.
