The NBR Rubber Sheet Basic is a high-quality industrial-grade product based on nitrile rubber (NBR) for applications requiring resistance to oils, greases and mechanical stress. Unlike fabric-reinforced versions, this variant has no fabric reinforcement and therefore offers a uniform material structure throughout its entire thickness. This makes it easier to process and makes the sheet particularly suitable for cut-to-size pieces, seals and technical components with complex contours.

The NBR rubber sheet Basic is a high-quality industrial-grade product based on nitrile rubber (NBR) for applications requiring resistance to oils, greases and mechanical stress. Unlike fabric-reinforced versions, this variant has no fabric reinforcement and therefore offers a uniform material structure throughout its entire thickness. This makes it easier to work with and makes the sheet particularly suitable for cut-to-size pieces, seals and technical components with complex contours.
Thanks to its NBR content, the rubber sheet exhibits good resistance to mineral oils, lubricants and greases. It is therefore suitable for workshops, machine rooms, industrial production areas and numerous technical applications involving occasional to moderate contact with oil. The material exhibits adequate resistance to diluted acids and alkalis, whilst use with concentrated chemicals, solvents or prolonged exposure to oil is not recommended.
The operating temperature range is between –30 °C and +90 °C. The sheet has a density of 1.45 g/cm³ and a hardness of 70 ± 5 Shore A. Mechanically, it offers a minimum tensile strength of 4 MPa (approx. 40 kg/cm² or 569 PSI) and an elongation at break of at least 200 %. The tear resistance is at least 18 kg/cm. This makes the material suitable for applications where flexibility and mechanical strength are required.
The surface is smooth on both sides, ensuring a clean appearance and easy cleaning. The black NBR rubber sheet Basic is available in rolls, sheets and as custom-cut pieces, and can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of a wide variety of industrial applications.
