Vibra®Para Honey is the premium grade in our natural rubber (NR) range and has been specially developed for the most extreme mechanical and abrasive stresses. It combines the outstanding elasticity typical of natural rubber with top-class strength and wear resistance – the right choice when standard natural rubber reaches its limits.

The mechanical properties are exceptional: with a very high tensile strength of 200 kg/cm² (approx. 19.6 MPa), an extreme elongation at break of up to 650 % and the best abrasion resistance in our range (maximum abrasion 88 mm³), the sheet offers maximum protection against wear and mechanical stress. Typical applications include hopper and container linings, impact protection, chutes, conveyor belt coverings and surfaces subject to severe abrasion. A maximum compression set of 35 % and a tear strength of 25 kg/cm ensure reliable recovery and high robustness. With a very soft hardness of 35 ± 5 Shore A, the sheet is also exceptionally flexible and moulds perfectly to contours.

The choice of material depends crucially on the operating environment: natural rubber is designed to withstand mechanical stress and is not suitable for contact with oils, greases, acids, alkalis or solvents; its resistance to ozone and weathering is also limited. The sheet is therefore particularly suitable for dry applications subject to mechanical and abrasive stress. The operating temperature range extends from –40 °C to +70 °C, thus reliably covering colder environments as well.

With a particularly low density of 0,98 g/cm³ and its honey-coloured finish, Vibra®Para Honey can be cut to size, die-cut and fabricated – optionally with a smooth surface on both sides or a fabric-backed surface, and available by the metre or as bespoke cut-to-size sheets to meet the highest demands for wear resistance and elasticity.
