The Vibra® ribbed mat (Wide Rib) is a robust rubber mat with a wide longitudinal ribbed profile, designed for use as a floor covering and protective mat. The wide, clearly spaced ribs provide a slip-resistant surface, effectively drain water and liquids between the ribs, and are easy to clean thanks to the flat rib surface. Typical applications include walkways and floor coverings in industry and commerce, stables and walking areas in agriculture, workstation and machinery surfaces, as well as passageways and high-traffic areas.

Product description

The Vibra® Ribbed Mat (Wide Rib) is a robust rubber mat with a wide longitudinal ribbed profile, designed for use as a floor covering and protective mat. The wide, clearly separated ribs provide a slip-resistant surface, allow water and liquids to drain effectively between the ribs, and are easy to clean thanks to the smooth surface of the ribs. Typical applications include walkways and floor coverings in industrial and commercial settings, stables and walking areas in agriculture, workstation and machinery underlays, as well as passageways and high-traffic areas.

The mat is made from a tried-and-tested SBR industrial-grade rubber with good mechanical properties as well as good abrasion and impact resistance. Mechanically, it offers a tensile strength of 3 MPa (approximately 30 kg/cm²) with an elongation at break of 200% and a hardness of 70 ± 5 Shore A. The operating temperature range is from –20 °C to +70 °C.

When using the mat, please note that it is a standard grade designed for mechanical applications: it offers moderate resistance to alkalis and ageing, but is not intended for prolonged contact with oils, fuels or acids. However, it is ideally suited for use as an anti-slip floor covering and protective mat in dry environments.

With a density of 1.5 g/cm³ and a black finish, the Vibra® strip mat is robust, durable and easy to cut to size – available in rolls and sheets as well as made to measure.
