Vibra® Gran flooring (sports flooring) is an elastic floor covering made from rubber granules derived from recycled EPDM and SBR rubber and bound with polyurethane (PU). This construction gives the flooring exceptional elasticity and good shock-absorbing properties: it reduces impacts, impact noise and strain on joints, whilst also protecting the underlying surface. The characteristic speckled appearance (black, optionally with grey or blue speckles) creates an attractive, uniform look.

Product description

Vibra® Gran flooring (sports flooring) is an elastic floor covering made from rubber granules derived from recycled EPDM and SBR rubber and bound with polyurethane (PU). This construction gives the flooring exceptional elasticity and good shock-absorbing properties: it reduces impacts, impact noise and strain on joints, whilst also protecting the underlying subfloor. The characteristic speckled appearance (black, optionally with grey or blue speckles) creates an attractive, uniform look.

Typical applications include sports and fitness areas, weight-training and exercise rooms, play areas and fall-protection zones, stables and animal housing floors, as well as protective and work surfaces in workshops, warehouses and commercial premises. Thanks to its vapour permeability, the flooring is also suitable for areas where moisture exchange with the subfloor is desirable.

The material is highly resistant to UV radiation and weathering, as well as to diluted acids and alkalis, and is therefore also suitable for outdoor use. Mechanically, the flooring offers a tensile strength of over 1.8 MPa with an elongation at break of 98 %. The operating temperature range is from –30 °C to +80 °C.

With a low density of 980 kg/m³ (0.98 g/cm³), Vibra® Gran flooring is comparatively lightweight and can be easily cut to size and installed – available in rolls and sheets, as well as in custom cuts for sports, safety and flooring applications.
