The PROFIMAT® Tyre Cradle XL is a high-quality tyre support made from durable rubber granulate, which has been specially developed to reliably protect tyres from flat spots during prolonged periods of inactivity and is suitable for tyres ranging from 18 to 22 inches. Its permanently elastic shape adapts perfectly to the tyre, distributes the vehicle’s weight evenly and ensures an ideal contact surface. Thanks to the ramps on both sides, it is easy to drive onto and off the stand, whilst its heavy weight and non-slip surface ensure a secure grip.

The PROFIMAT® Tyre Cradle XL is a high-quality tyre support made from durable rubber granulate, which has been specially developed to reliably protect tyres from flat spots during prolonged periods of inactivity and is suitable for tyres ranging from 18 to 22 inches. Its permanently elastic shape adapts perfectly to the tyre, distributes the vehicle’s weight evenly and ensures an ideal contact surface. Thanks to the ramps on both sides, it is easy to drive onto and off the tyre cradle, whilst its substantial weight and non-slip surface ensure a secure grip.
The Tyre Cradle is ideal for vehicles that will not be moved for an extended period, such as seasonal vehicles, motorbikes, caravans, motorhomes, cars, and horse and boat trailers. Thanks to a pre-formed cutting line on the reverse side, the Tyre Cradle XL can be cut in half along the centre using a craft knife or a jigsaw if required, for example to adapt it to narrower vehicles or specific parking situations.
The robust recycled rubber granulate is frost- and weather-resistant, durable and permanently elastic, meaning the tyre cradle can be used indoors and outdoors all year round; a typical, faint rubber odour may be noticeable. The special design promotes even pressure distribution and helps to minimise tyre deformation whilst the vehicle is parked.
In an independent flat spot study conducted by the IPW automotive GmbH test laboratory (Report 532, April 2019), the performance of the Tyre Cradle XL was directly compared with that of a flat aluminium plate: The intensity of the dynamic force fluctuation was reduced by more than 25 %, from 4,541 Nkm with the flat aluminium plate to 3,292 Nkm with the Tyre Cradle XL, which scientifically confirms its protective effect.
