ZELLAMID® 1500 X is a high-performance PEEK (polyetheretherketone) semi-finished product with a continuous operating temperature of up to 260 °C. The material is resistant to hot water and hot steam and exhibits excellent mechanical properties at both high and extremely low temperatures below −150 °C.

ZELLAMID® 1500 X is a high-performance PEEK (polyetheretherketone) semi-finished product with a continuous operating temperature of up to 260 °C. The material is resistant to hot water and hot steam and exhibits excellent mechanical properties at both high and extremely low temperatures below −150 °C.
ZELLAMID® 1500 X is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, particularly organic solvents. It is self-extinguishing and is classified as V-0 in accordance with UL 94 for flame retardancy. Smoke and gas emission in the event of a fire is very low. Its balanced property profile – impact strength, high creep resistance and high modulus of elasticity – enables its use in safety-critical applications.
ZELLAMID® 1500 X is used in food processing, aerospace, automotive engineering, defence, electrical and electronics, the oil and gas industry, nuclear and hydroelectric power, vacuum technology, medical technology, and wire and cable manufacturing. Typical components include valve rings, plain bearings, sealing rings, pistons, couplings, braking systems, actuators, electronic sensors, pump parts and components for semiconductor manufacturing.
