CR/NBR cellular rubber sheet – EN 45545
CR/NBR cellular rubber sheets with EN 45545 fire safety certification for rail vehicles
This CR/NBR cellular rubber meets the requirements of fire safety standard EN 45545 for use in rail vehicles and thus offers a high level of safety when materials are used in the railway sector. With a density of 160 kg/m³, this is a closed-cell, soft-elastic cellular rubber that is completely impermeable to air and water, thereby ensuring reliable sealing and insulation. Due to its material structure, the cellular rubber does not absorb moisture and remains dimensionally stable and functionally reliable even under long-term stress.

The material is particularly suitable for applications requiring high-quality seals, elastic soft mountings or effective shock and vibration damping. The CR/NBR compound also offers good resistance to oils, greases and various media, making the cellular rubber suitable not only for rail vehicles but also for other industrial sectors where fire protection, safety and material resistance play a crucial role.
CR/NBR cellular rubber sheets are available in standard sheet formats in various thicknesses. On request, we also produce custom-cut sheets, strips or moulded parts to ensure the material can be perfectly adapted to the specific technical application. Simply order your desired grade from our online shop or contact us if you need assistance in selecting the right material or require further technical information. We are happy to provide you with expert advice.
