EPDM cellular rubber sheet - FDA
EPDM cellular rubber, FDA-compliant – for sealing, insulating, soundproofing and shock absorption
This cellular rubber, made from an FDA-compliant EPDM compound with a density of 130 kg/m³, is a closed-cell, soft-elastic cellular rubber that is completely impermeable to air and water. Thanks to its closed-cell structure, the material does not absorb moisture and remains dimensionally stable and reliably seals even during prolonged contact with liquids. FDA compliance also enables its use in areas where materials suitable for food contact are required, for example in food processing, the catering sector, and the medical technology or pharmaceutical sectors.

Thanks to its outstanding properties, this EPDM cellular rubber is used wherever an elastic sealing function, secure soft mounting or reliable shock and vibration damping is required. The material exhibits excellent resistance to weathering, ozone and ageing, and retains its elasticity even under prolonged mechanical stress. This makes it suitable for numerous industrial applications, such as seals on machinery and plant, damping elements, insulating and damping pads, or flexible components in apparatus and container construction.
The EPDM cellular rubber is available in standard sheet formats in various thicknesses or can be cut to exact dimensions on request, ensuring the material is optimally suited to the specific application. Order your cellular rubber conveniently in just a few clicks via our online shop, or contact us if you would like personal advice or assistance in selecting the right grade.
