Ethafoam® PE packaging foam – antistatic

PE Ethafoam® is an extruded, pink polyethylene foam specifically developed for applications where electrostatic-sensitive equipment and electronic components need to be protected. Thanks to its antistatic ESD properties, the material prevents harmful electrostatic discharges and ensures that printed circuit boards, sensors, assemblies, measuring instruments and other electronic components can be safely packaged, transported and stored. At the same time, the foam is highly energy-absorbent, reliably dampening shocks, vibrations and mechanical impacts. PE Ethafoam® thus offers an ideal combination of electrostatic and physical protection.

The foam is extremely easy to work with and is therefore ideal for custom protective packaging, moulded inserts, interlayers, fixings or transport trays. Whether simple cut-to-size pieces or complex contours: PE Ethafoam® can be processed efficiently and proves its worth in both mass-production packaging and sensitive specialist applications. Standard sheets are available in multiple thicknesses and come in the standard ESD safety colour pink, making their protective nature immediately recognisable.

On request, we manufacture PE Ethafoam® to customer specifications as a precisely cut-to-size or fully assembled product, ensuring that the protective effect is optimally tailored to the component in question. This not only saves time during packaging but also increases process reliability and reduces waste and transport damage. The foam is lightweight, resistant to ageing and reusable multiple times, making it an economical and sustainable packaging solution.
