The KNIPEX BiX® enables fast, clean and chip-free cutting of plastic pipes and sealing sleeves. Thanks to its compact design, the tool fits comfortably in the hand and is ideal for working in confined spaces.
Whether high-temperature waste pipes, electrical conduit or soft plastic pipes – the BiX® cuts a wide variety of pipe types precisely and efficiently in no time at all.The tool is suitable for non-reinforced plastic pipes with diameters from 20 to 56 mm and wall thicknesses up to 2.4 mm, as well as for soft plastic pipes and pipes with a foamed core up to 3.5 mm wall thickness. Drip and sealing sleeves can also be cut cleanly to standard specifications with a wall clearance of just approx. 2–3 mm – ideal for final assembly. Clean, chip-free cuts are achieved with minimal effort after just a few turns.
The rotatable blade block enables flexible use: with the blade positioned centrally for cutting plastic pipes or with the blade on the outside for drip and sealing sleeves. High-quality blades made from special steel ensure consistently precise results. For added convenience, the KNIPEX BiX® features an integrated locking mechanism for safe transport, as well as two spare blades that can be carried directly in the tool.
