NBR/SBR rubber sheet – various sizes
NBR/SBR rubber sheet – oil-resistant and abrasion-resistant
Our NBR/SBR rubber sheets combine the best properties of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) in a versatile material that has proven itself in a wide variety of technical applications. Whilst NBR impresses with its excellent resistance to oils, greases, fuels and many chemicals, the SBR content ensures additional abrasion resistance, ageing resistance and mechanical stability. Together, they create a rubber material that delivers reliable performance in both industrial environments and in mechanical and plant engineering.

A particularly practical feature is that we offer the NBR/SBR rubber sheets in Shore hardnesses of 50, 65 and 80 A. This allows the material properties to be optimally tailored to the specific application. The softer 50 Shore A variant is elastic, flexible and adapts excellently to uneven surfaces, making it particularly suitable for seals and applications requiring shock or vibration damping. The 65 Shore A version offers a medium hardness, providing a good balance between flexibility and stability, and is recommended as a versatile all-rounder for many technical applications. The hardest version, at 80 Shore A, is, by contrast, highly dimensionally stable, robust and durable, and is particularly suitable for applications involving high pressure and surface loads.
In addition to their range of hardnesses, the NBR/SBR sheets impress with their excellent mechanical properties. They exhibit high tensile strength, considerable elongation at break and low compression set. This means that the material retains its shape and function even under heavy stress. At the same time, it is resistant to temperatures ranging from approximately –30 °C to +100 °C, and even higher for short periods. This makes the sheets ideally suited for use in both cold environments and where moderate heat is generated.
Another major advantage lies in their processability. The sheets can be easily cut to size, punched, glued or machined, allowing them to be flexibly adapted – whether for large-scale applications, precision-manufactured seals or custom-shaped protective pads. This versatility makes them a proven solution for many sectors, ranging from the automotive and mechanical engineering industries through chemical production to general industrial engineering.
Typical applications include seals, flange gaskets and moulded parts that come into contact with oils, lubricants or fuels. They also prove their worth as protective mats, underlays and covers in production environments where abrasion resistance and load-bearing capacity are crucial. NBR/SBR rubber sheets are also frequently used as buffer or vibration-damping elements, as their range of hardness grades allows them to offer both elastic and dimensionally stable solutions.
Delivery form
Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.
In addition to simple strips or cut-to-length sections, we also manufacture precision injection-moulded parts, CNC-cut profiles and complex rubber-metal components that are precisely tailored to your application.
