The NBR/SBR wide-ribbed rubber mat is the right choice when you need a robust, durable and functional covering that also improves safety and comfort. Manufactured from a high-quality blend of nitrile rubber (NBR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), it combines two key properties: the excellent oil and chemical resistance of NBR and the high abrasion and tear resistance of SBR. The result is a material that reliably fulfils its purpose in workshops, production environments and transport areas – even under intensive use over many years.
The characteristic wide-groove profile not only defines the appearance but, above all, gives the mat its functional strength. The deep, parallel grooves provide slip resistance and ensure that people, tools and materials can find a secure footing even on smooth or slightly oily surfaces. At the same time, dirt, dust or liquids can collect in the grooves and be easily removed, which significantly simplifies cleaning and reduces maintenance requirements.
In addition to its anti-slip properties, the wide-groove mat offers further advantages that highlight its practicality in everyday use. It absorbs shocks and reduces noise: tools or components that are placed down or moved cause less noise and are better protected against damage. Work surfaces, shelves and floors are also effectively protected against scratches, indentations and wear. In this way, the mat not only extends the service life of surfaces and tools, but also contributes to a more pleasant working environment.
Thanks to its material composition, the mat is temperature- and chemical-resistant. It remains reliably elastic and functional within a range of approximately –20 °C to +70 °C and is resistant to many lubricants, greases and mild chemicals. This makes it suitable not only for traditional workshop applications, but also for industrial production lines or vehicle interiors, where it can be used as a load area cover or protective mat.
It is extremely easy to work with. Supplied in rolls, the wide-ribbed rubber mat can be cut to size using standard tools and tailored precisely to the specific application. Whether used over large areas as floor runners in workshops, as inserts in drawers and tool trolleys, or as workbench covers – the mat retains its shape and does not slip, thanks to its fabric-patterned backing.
Delivery form
Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.
