The NR/Para rubber sheet with a hardness of around 40 Shore A is one of the most popular grades in the field of highly elastic rubber materials. It consists of pure natural rubber (NR) in the so-called ‘Para’ grade, which is known for its excellent mechanical properties, exceptional elasticity and extreme abrasion resistance. Thanks to this unique combination, the material offers an ideal solution for all applications where a long service life under heavy-duty conditions is essential.

With a hardness of 40 Shore A, this rubber sheet is particularly soft and flexible. This means it adapts easily to uneven surfaces, provides shock absorption and reliably absorbs vibrations. At the same time, it offers remarkable tear and tensile strength, ensuring the material does not fail even under high mechanical stress. In many applications where standard rubber grades wear out quickly, the NR-Para rubber sheet retains its functionality over long periods.

Another advantage is its very high abrasion resistance. Particularly in industrial processes involving abrasive materials—such as in bulk material handling, conveyor systems or blasting facilities—the material is frequently used as a lining or protective covering. Here, it prevents material loss due to wear and tear whilst simultaneously reducing noise pollution, as the elastic structure absorbs a large proportion of the impact energy.

The temperature resistance of this grade ranges from approximately –40 °C to +70 °C, and it can even withstand temperatures up to +90 °C for short periods. This makes the Para rubber sheet suitable for both cold and warm environments, and it remains elastic even at low temperatures. This versatility makes it attractive for many sectors – from mechanical engineering and raw material processing to general industrial wear protection.

The material also performs well in processing. It can be easily cut to size, die-cut, glued or machined, meaning that custom cut-to-size pieces, seals or special moulded parts can be produced without difficulty. Thanks to its soft structure, processing is particularly user-friendly, whilst its high tear resistance guarantees a long service life.

Delivery form

Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.

In addition to simple strips or cut-to-length sections, we also manufacture precision injection-moulded parts, CNC-cut profiles and complex rubber-metal components that are precisely tailored to your application.
