NR/SBR rubber sheet – antistatic
NR/SBR rubber sheet, antistatic – long-lasting ESD safety
The NR/SBR rubber sheets in an antistatic version with a hardness of approx. 60 Shore A are the ideal solution when mechanical strength, elasticity and electrostatic safety are required simultaneously. Manufactured from a high-quality blend of natural rubber (NR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), they combine the advantages of both materials: Whilst NR provides elasticity, high resilience and flexibility, SBR offers additional benefits such as excellent abrasion and ageing resistance. The result is a durable and resilient material designed for continuous industrial use.

The standout feature of this grade is its antistatic property. Through the use of special conductive additives, the sheets reliably dissipate static electricity, thereby preventing dangerous build-up. This is particularly important in areas where electrostatic discharges (ESD) could damage sensitive electronic components or even ignite explosive atmospheres. This makes the antistatic NR/SBR sheets ideal for cleanrooms, electronics manufacturing, assembly halls or facilities in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
With a hardness of 60 Shore A, the sheets offer an ideal balance of flexibility and stability. They are elastic enough to adapt to uneven surfaces, yet firm enough to be used as permanent seals, protective pads or vibration dampers. Their high abrasion resistance and tensile and tear strength ensure a long service life even under heavy mechanical stress. Additionally, the sheets demonstrate low compression set, retaining their shape and delivering a reliable seal even after prolonged pressure.
The antistatic NR/SBR sheets remain fully functional within a temperature range of approx. –10 °C to +70 °C. Even higher temperatures are possible for short periods, meaning they can be used reliably in changing environments and under demanding conditions. This makes them suitable not only for indoor use but also for technical applications where constant mechanical and electrical safety is required.
Processing is also straightforward: the sheets can be easily cut, die-cut, perforated, glued or machined, allowing them to be used in both standard formats and custom sizes. This opens up a wide range of applications – from bespoke seals and moulded parts to technical covers and underlays, right through to antistatic floor coverings and protective mats.
Delivery form
Rubber rolls are supplied as continuous rolls as standard, but can be cut to size and finished entirely according to your wishes, drawings or technical requirements.
In addition to simple strips or cut-to-length sections, we also manufacture precision injection-moulded parts, CNC-cut profiles and complex rubber-metal components that are precisely tailored to your application.
