NR/SBR rubber sheet - red

Our NR/SBR rubber sheets in bright red combine the natural properties of natural rubber (NR) with the robust advantages of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). This combination of materials results in a rubber compound that is both highly elastic and wear-resistant, and has proven itself in numerous technical applications. With a Shore hardness of approx. 40° A (±5°), the sheets are among the softer grades, making them particularly flexible and adaptable.

Thanks to this softness, the sheets offer excellent shock-absorbing and damping properties. They reliably absorb vibrations and shocks, thereby protecting components, machinery or sensitive surfaces. Despite their elasticity, they are robust enough to withstand high mechanical stresses. Their high abrasion resistance makes them resistant to friction, ensuring they retain their function for a long time even under intensive use.

Another advantage of this material is its impressive tear resistance and elasticity. The material can be stretched significantly or subjected to mechanical stress without tearing or permanently losing its shape. These properties are particularly valuable for applications requiring a combination of flexibility and stability.

The red colour scheme not only ensures an eye-catching and modern look, but also offers practical advantages: it makes the material easily recognisable in work and production environments, facilitates its allocation to specific application areas, and gives projects a clean, high-quality appearance.

The temperature resistance of the NR/SBR rubber sheets ranges from approximately –30 °C to +70 °C, and up to +90 °C for short periods. This makes them suitable for applications in cold environments as well as for areas with increased heat generation. Thanks to the blend of NR and SBR, the material also remains resistant to many environmental influences whilst retaining its elasticity and damping properties over a long period.

In practice, the sheets can be easily cut to size, die-cut, glued or machined. They can therefore be easily shaped into a wide variety of forms and dimensions – whether for customised seals, technical moulded parts or protective pads.
